You can see that there are two trades open, those are not 1MD trades. I saw some possible price action trades this week so I took 4 of them... 2 were losses, two are winners where partial profit is taken and the rest of positions is still open with SL set to BE+1. From now on, I might take this kind of trades if I have time and see some... Also I will use one signal service with very little risk because I find their results good and the trades easy to set. I know that I have said I would trade only 1 MD to see how it performs, but I also realised that my purpose of this site was to show that it is possible to transform a few hundred USD into a few thousands in one year, not to make this site only 1MD trading results:) I hope you won't get mad at me...
UPDATE: guys, don't waste your time with buyforexsignals.com. They dont respond to emails at all and their results are fake... I also talked to Phil that is posting here and will try FxChilds play system...

Hello there, nice blog!
ReplyDeleteWich signal service do you intend to use? Another question, do you have a twitter account? Mine is @dperrout. Just start trading on forex a couple of months ago.
Regards,
Hi Tomas,
ReplyDeleteGood one. I would be interested to know your signal service too. I am using 1MinuteDaily less and less now. I am mainly using FXChildsPlay. I have to say that it is VERY accurate but you need the time at home to see the trades develop. So far an amazing 100% success rate which is 34 winning trades so far! Well worth the money. I cannot find a bad review about the system.
Phil
Hi Daniel,
ReplyDeletethank you and welcome here!:) I am starting with http://www.buyforexsignals.com/ but havent taken a trade yet, so cannot recommend.
I dont have a twitter, only Facebook or Skype... we can chat there.
Hi Phil,
ReplyDeleteI am watching FxChilds play too, havent bought it yet though. After your recommendation, I probably will. It is quite cheap I think...
Hi Phil,
ReplyDeleteI also looked at FxChildsPlay and was considering purchasing it, but SystemsForTraders.com have just published a very negative review of it. I think it centres mainly on the lack of support. What is your experience of their support?
Cheers,
Dave
I have already written them an email and received a response in less than 10 hours...
ReplyDeleteHi Tomas,
ReplyDeleteSo, their pre-sales support is ok. I'm just worried about the level of support you would get once you've paid your money...
Phil:
What time frame are you trading FxChildsPlay?
Cheers
Dave
Dave
Hi Dave
ReplyDeleteI look for the exact same setups that Farhar uses throughout the different
time frames. I started with a couple of loosers but now just emulate exactly
what he does. I have not seen a setup worth trading yet this morning and
there was little yesterday, (apart from a +22 on the EUR/ USD). Much of it
seems to be how you confirm the trend to determine a win or a looser.
Hi again Dave
ReplyDeleteI have read the review posted you mentioned. Ok support is lacking but having watched the videos time and time again - the system is quite clear, any time frame with confirmation of the trend. I have had two good trades again today on the GBP/ USD and EUR/ USD using different time frames.
I have learn't a lot from Tomas and his blog here, (thank you Tomas). There will never be a 'holy grail' system. You have to find one to suit you and adapt it accordingly, as Tomas has done with 1MinuteDaily.
There will always be negative reviews posted about systems. Sadly the negative ones always stick with us and we forget about the good ones. I can find very few bad ones for FX Child's play.
We will all get to where we want as traders in the end.....as long as we do not give up trying!!
Have a good day, Phil
hi Phil,
ReplyDeletehave a question about fxchildsplay.com
is it a robot? is it purely mechanical system?
tonny
i am actually considering to get
ReplyDeletehttp://www.sniperforex.com/results.html
read a lots of good reviews, but i am put off by the price... nearly 300 usd. and apparently you will have to be around computer all day :(
but the results seem good!
tonny
Hi Tonny,
ReplyDeleteif I may answer for Phil... No, FxChildsplay is not a robot. Indicators show you the trades, you have to take them.
Sniper forex is one I looked at too. It looks fine, I just like FxChilds play better and it is also cheaper. Every system has to be tried for a few weeks or months to be able to say I think...:)
Hi, thanks for the answer.
ReplyDeleteFxChildsplay - have you backtested the system to see how it performed over past year or so?
tonny
Hi Tonny
ReplyDeleteIf you set up the alpri trading platform and scroll back...you soon see that the indicators work suprisingly well.
Phil
I tried Sniper last year (free trial) but just couldn't get on with it, and settled for Forex Rebellion instead as that works better on the 4HR and daily timeframes which I am fond of.
ReplyDeletehi,
ReplyDeletePhil,
arent indicators repainting?
David,
are you making profits consistently (on monthly basis) with forex rebellion?
i have also tried free trial of sniper, but didnt have time eventually for it, so i cannot say.
tonny
Tonny,
ReplyDeleteI average about 250 pips per month trading EUR/USD, EUR/JPY and GBP/JPY only on the 4 HR.
To be fair, Rebellion works best (and is traded by the author Russ Horn) on the 1HR timeframe but that's no use to me.
250 pips sounds ok, but remember the risk per trade is 40/60 pips (I risk 2%) so actually works out about 10% ROI per month. Ranging markets are a killer though and you can get multiple losses before you realise.
I am back-testing Rebellion on the daily time frame at the moment. I have never tried using it on 5 or 15 minute.
Guys,
ReplyDeleteI understand, that 100 bucks is a lot:), but please dont post here the link. You guys that want it, post here your email, that would be better, I dont want to get in trouble:)
We could then start a forum or something to share our ideas and results, what do you say?
Thanks!
Hi Tomas
ReplyDeleteA forum would be great, would be happy to help you set it up.
Phil
some baaaad days for gbp/usd 1 minute daily :((
ReplyDeletedid anybody took trades on 27 and 28 september?
almost end of the month and down 10 per cent on my account for the month...
tonny
Tonny, don't worry, it will turn around! I am in losses as well. That's just the way this system works, you have some good times and you have also bad times... HOLD ON!
ReplyDeleteGBP/USD is a nightmare at the moment on the 1MD strategy, but it will improve. My tally for the month so far is 8xA, 1xB, 4xC and 3xD.
ReplyDeletePretty bad, but nowhere near as bad as Feb 2009 that recorded 6xA, 2xB, 6xC and 5xD.
September has been a fantastic month for my EUR/GBP pair (14xA, 4xB, 2xC, 1xD) so that has kept me afloat this month.
As Tomas says, things will turn around, so stick with it!
Dave
Hi Phil,
ReplyDelete34 winning trades in a row!!! thats excellent! what timeframes/time of the day/currencies do you trade with fx childs play?
i think you have to be carefull with scrolling back to the past to see how the system would perform. if you notice, the fx childs play indicator line keeps on moving/repainting.
Phil,
ReplyDeleteforget to ask you : whats your risk reward ratio (average in pips)?
thanks
;)
Hi Anonymous
ReplyDeleteI am scrolling through the time frames to look for the best setups's, i.e. angle, seperation but also steep lines rather than lines going sideways.
Yes they are 'lagging' indicators but up to now the best I have seen and used with any system.
I am averaging around 15 pips per trade as I am not using the swing high/ swing lows mentioned in the system. For example I have just taken a +7 in the USD/ JPY this afternoon on a 30 minute time frame. There was good angle and seperation, the confirmation was a steep incline and the trade went into profit after about 15 minutes. It seems that the best setups seem to be when the fx childs play indicator just crosses the +90/ -90. I am tending to take the trade if confirmation also looks good.
I hope that this helps. I suppose I am using the system to 'scalp' pips. I feel much more in control doing this.
Phil
thank you for the answer Phil,
ReplyDeleteall indicators are lagging. what do you mean you are not using swing low/highs? for entries or stop losses? so what stop loss do you use Phil?
Hi Anonymous
ReplyDeleteIt depends on the trade really and how it develops from entry. From experience I watch the trade and close it manually when necessary.
I hope this helps,
Phil

ReplyDeleteFx Childs Play is nothing more than a joke , a 24 cci that issues a buy when above 90 ,together when all 3 EMA have cross ( 3/5/13) and the same on a Sell except the cci is below -90. They all work well in a trend or at the start of a trend > BUT you never know when a trend is starting unless people have a strong understand of Support and Resistance .People trust me , have any one who has the FXChildPlay system post a pic and you will see for yourslef that all it is > a 24 cci buy above 90 sell below -90 with 3 EMA 3/5/13.
There is a website that does nothing but share systems and you can download this POS for free.
Here just to save some of you the trouble and keeping you from wasting your money of the POS system . Its been upload at the link below into a Zipfile for anyone who wants it for FREE.

Hi Anonymous.
ReplyDeleteThank you again for your input. I am sure that Slurpee would agree when I say that as a trader you have to use systems, experience and accept both the winners and the losers. FX Child's play is certainly helping me with my 'journey' along with other systems and books by traders such as Marcel Link.
I am a profitable trader gaining more and more pips on average each month. My stakes are rising steadily and if it continues my 'modest' monthly income from trading will eventually become a good living.
Anonymous you have just stated that,
'Fx Childs Play is nothing more than a joke'
Rather than be negative I would love to hear about your trading journey, where you have got to along with some more positive ideas you may be willing to share to help us all!
Your friend in trading,
Phil
Hi Anonymous,
ReplyDeleteI agree with Phil. Of course, there are tons of systems on the net, that are for free and then somebody sells something similar or maybe the same for some money... Honestly, if the price is low and the seller gives a certain service to it, I am willing to pay for it. But of course, I am not like everyone...
So I accept your opinion, but don't really agree. But I would love to hear about your system of trading, if you don't mind...?
Mmmmmmmm...suprisingly Anonymous has gone very quiet!!
ReplyDeletePhil
Well, here's my two-penneth worth:
ReplyDeleteYou can't really knock a system just because the indicator is based on an EMA cross. Otherwise systems like Stealth, Black Dog, SaneFX and a host of others fall into the same category. Sometimes simple is better.
As anonymous (Viper?) correctly points out, the FXChildsPlay indicator appears to be nothing more can a standard 24-period CCI. Now, I agree that's pretty sharp practice from the author, but he's not the first (and certainly won't be the last) person to repackage a free indicator.
Each to his own I guess. I am up well over 300% on the year using 1MD and still people tell me its a 'POS'.
Dave
Phil,
ReplyDeletethis is normal...people like to talk but very rarely do they show their results:)
Dave,
thanks for your post. And congrats to your results!:) I will start with your upgrade to GU this week:) Can I post a link here to your post on FPA?
Tomas,
ReplyDeleteYes, my all means post the link. Some of your readers may find it of help.
