Here are the results for last 14 days. I was too busy last week... GU had 7 wins and 5 losses (the disasterous week is overdone if you trade by the rules), UJ there were 6 wins and 3 (4) losses. So if you followed the rules, you have had a nice two weeks! Unfortunatelly I didnt follow the rules (I didnt trade) and also I missed one win because I was away from my computer. Here you see that patience DOES pay off!
I also started to trade EURGBP on another account because my first account has too big spread (5 pips). So far I was quite successful.
And...also I demo trade buyforexsignals because I had a chat with them and I want to give it a try even their support is very weak... In two weaks and two days the results are positive. I will let you know how it goes...
The results from trading of the FxChilds play are breakeven. I have had some winners and some losers. It demands a lot of practice (1 MD is much easier) because the set up is not that easy to see (or at least it seems to me - it is another topic to chat about:))...

Hello Slurpee,
ReplyDeleteMaybe you can add Morning Forex Trading to your list.
Here is another blog I follow with interest, and it seems to be working well lately. Haven't tried it myself yet though.

Hi guys,
ReplyDeleteI have been trading MFT for the past month (it fits into my set-and-forget trading style) and it seems a good sound strategy, based on early London session momentum. So far, I have to say I am very impressed but I will see how it goes over the next couple of months before trading with big money.
Hi Raggy, Hi Dave,
ReplyDeleteI know that system, bookmarked the web a few weeks ago. I like the results, seem very good. Although the guy trading it seems to use a little discretion while trading. But that is like with 1MD sometimes:) Do you guys know what time you have to place the trades? Recently I have to place trades at 9, 10, 11 and 12 our time to catch everything. And sometimes it already gets a little busy...:)
Happy trading!
Hi Tomas,
ReplyDeleteWell, it's an early start if you want to trade FMT manually. The order needs to be placed at 06:30 London time (adjust for BST/GMT etc).
I use the EA supplied with it so I completely forget about it.
My EA settings are 40 pip SL, 40 pip TP with move to B/E at +24 pips. Historically, these settings seem best, but many go for +80 pips with a trailing stop (the EA is configurable).
I've only used it for 4 weeks, so early days.
Hi Dave,
ReplyDeletethank you for info. 6:30 London time is 7:30 over here, so it is OK. Let me know after a few months how it works. recently I am happy with 1 MD (EG works great!:)) and also the buyforexsignal servise seems pretty good... I dont have much time to watch something else:) Do you use your EA on your computer or do you pay for VPS servis?
I have the EA on one of my computers that I have running 24/7. I did consider using a VPS but it wouldn't benefit me much, as my computer needs to be on for other reasons (I am a part-time IT consultant, part-time trader) and my internet connection is solid.
ReplyDeleteI worry a bit that FMT may be curve-fitted to current market conditions. I read somewhere that a backtest of the EA over previous years (prior to 2007) blew the account on several occassions. It's been pretty good from 2007 onwards though, and currently it's doing very well. This week I recorded 2 easy wins, 2 no-trades and one break-even trade. So +80 pips for the week.
1MD on E/G continues to perform well, and G/U seems to be moving better lately, so this is still my main pip-winning stratgy.
Hi Tomas
ReplyDeleteI am really missing your blog.......
